The Vendettas’ very own "Grizzly Adams," Owen is over here in Britain on sabbatical from his native Canada. Tree-felling is Owen’s real love in life – show him just a tiny needle from any kind of conifer and he will delight in telling you its variety, location, and rainfall history for the past century.

He can also describe the fauna that particular tree will have attracted during its life, and the myriad of birds which depend on the tree for their existence. Many a happy evening is to be had round the fire at Owen’s place where he will tell folk legends about the trees and animals of his country whilst whittling a little otter-bone keepsake – maybe a keyring, a dolly or other trinket for you to cherish. After a few hours of Owen’s home-brand special brew, if you’re really lucky, he will get out that ‘bone of his and serenade you with Songs of the Little People.

Owen Loves:
Davy Crockett hats, dug-out canoes, starting fires the traditional way, Otter Steaks, London Beefeaters ("I love the way they look after their ravens whilst still managing to look stylish")

Owen hates:
Cigarette lighters ("far too easy,") supermarket-prepared otter steaks, trombone mouthpieces which are so frozen they stick to your lips, homebrew that’s not ready yet, People who don’t believe in the Little Folk.
