Miss V. is becoming quite blasé about the number of cool things which have been named in her honour. So far there is a "Volare" Trumpet Mute, 1979 "Spitfire" sports car, Gibson Guitar and Elaborate Cocktail. She sadly had nothing to do with the song, though will not object to another being written for her - and hey - she might even record it if it's VERY flattering - send to

She is delighted to announce, however, that she is soon to feature in a "Black Lace" erotic novel. After having bitterly complained to the author about her "non-bonk" role, she has been elevated to a character who sees some action - far more in keeping, we feel. The title is still to be announced, though Vendetta fans' suggestions should be sent to the author, Lavender Lovethrust, via muckytitles@vocaholic.co.uk ….

Volare sings with the French Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra - sadly only in Europe, and yes, dear anoraks, she WAS token skirt with Sugar Ray's Flying Fortress, which has now reformed with some of the original members..

Miss Volare's voice can be heard on the 1998 Flying Fortress album "Bim Bam Baby" on Ace Records and two French Glenn Miller Albums she refuses to give details about…
